Foto-Facial Treatments

Achieving smoother, more beautiful skin is now easier and more comfortable than ever before. The Aurora laser and Foto-Facial technology provides a faster, gentler way to smooth and remove many types of facial skin imperfections.

The Aurora skin rejuvenation system a unique combination of electrical energy, light and cooling to treat vascular and pigmented lesions, and remove facial hair, safely, quickly and very effectively.

The Aurora is the only system available today to employ this ELOS (Electro-Optical Synergy) technology for skin rejuvenation. This technology allows us to achieve an exceptionally effective, safe and affordable treatment for a broad range of aesthetic applications. At the Aesthetic Center, the Aurora is used to:
  • Treat sun damaged skin
  • Smooth skin
  • Reduce pores, freckling and irregular pigmentation
  • Remove facial hair
Compared to other treatments that use intense heat, light or other types of lasers, the Aurora laser allows clients to enjoy comfortable, long-lasting skin renewal that produces the desired results with little or no side effects. Each pulse of the laser lasts less than one second and may produce a slight tingling feeling. In particularly sensitive areas, such as the upper lip, it may feel like a quick pinch. Each treatment lasts approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Some clients may experience slight, short-term reddening of the surrounding skin. Clients can return to regular activities immediately after treatment, although it is advisable to keep the skin protected from exposure to direct sunlight for a short period of time

Excellent results are often apparent after the first treatment. If multiple types of lesions are to be treated, or if hair removal is part of the treatment, several treatments, spaced three to four weeks apart may be required. Microdermabrasion treatments are usually included in the Foto-Facial treatment package to help facilitate skin renewal.
