New Option for Facial Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation
A revolutionary new laser technology is available at the Aesthetic Center of Southwest Louisiana for the treatment of common skin conditions and the removal of unwanted facial hair. Rosacea, sun damaged skin and excess hair are often difficult to treat problems that can be successfully treated with Elos (electro-optical synergy) technology at the Aesthetic Center in Lake Charles.

Compared to other treatments that use intense heat, light or other types of lasers, Dr. Crawford says Elos technology allows clients to enjoy comfortable, long-lasting skin renewal that produces the desired results with little or no side effects. Each pulse of the laser lasts less than one second and may produce a slight tingling feeling. In particularly sensitive areas, such as the upper lip, it may feel like a quick pinch. Some clients may experience slight, short-term reddening of the surrounding skin. Clients can return to regular activities immediately after treatment, although it is advisable to keep the skin protected from exposure to direct sunlight for a short period of time
Several treatments, spaced several weeks apart are required for hair removal and some types of skin rejuvenation.
